What’s LED?

A light-emitting diode (LED) is a semiconductor device that emits light when an electric current is passed through it. Light is produced when the particles that carry the current (known as electrons and holes) combine together within the semiconductor material.

What’s Lumen(lm)?.

Lumens are a measure of the total amount of visible light (to the human eye) from a lamp or light source. The higher the lumen rating the “brighter” the lamp will appear.

What’s Lux(lx)?

Illuminance (lux) is used to indicate the brightness of a surface illuminated by light, The unit is shown as lx.

What’s lm/W?.

Là đơn vị chỉ việc có thể thu được bao nhiêu quang thông trên mỗi Watt = hiệu suất của đèn.

It shows how much luminous flux (lm) can be generated with 1 watt of power.

Benefits of LED.

Reduction Effect of CO2 Emissions

Reduces CO2 by 1,096 kg compared to fluorescent lamps

Comparing the CO2 emissions of ordinary fluorescent lamps and LED lighting, there is a CO2 reduction effect of 1,096 kg per 40,000 hours (about four and a half years with lighting 24 hours a day, 365 days a year). It is equivalent to the absorbed amount with 78 pcs of cedar trees grown for 50 years (about 14 kg per tree).

What’s the Color Temperature?

Colour temperature, represented as Kelvin(K), is a measure of the colour of light emitted by light sources such as sunlight, natural light, and artificial lighting. It has nothing to do with the temperature or brightness of the light source. In the colour temperature on Kelvin scale, the lower the warmer colour, and the higher the cooler colour.

What’s the Colour Rendering Index (CRI/Ra)?

The colour rendering index referred as CRI, defines the ability of a light source to reproduce true colours. On this scale a rendering of 100 is natural sunlight, higher number represents that the colour appearance is natural, closer to sunlight. Lower represents unnatural colour appearance.Evaluating with the average colour rendering index (Ra), Ra = 100 means that the colour appears the same as the reference light source (natural sunlight).
